The above reflects my experience and response to the pandemic. The blue colors represent the somber mood and themes endured throughout covid and the disappointment that came along. The Paris picture represents how this time of reflection has made me recognize my strong urge to discover the world and speak French fluently. The abstract nature corresponds to a rather chaotic time which was hard to decipher. The flowers represent a more thorough connection to self and nature that has come with these unprecedented times. Specifically the newspaper cutout survival stood out as the pandemic has taught me that you can live off the essentials and reflects a phenomenon that we will tell our children about when we are adults.
