Something I took away from the presentation was how important connection is. Connection to nature, connection to the art you’re working on, and connection to the people around you. I saw that a lot through what you talked about with the trips you went on with other students, and through all of the nature images you’ve painted. Now is a more potent time than ever to think about connection, and how people are connecting to each other as the coronavirus has hit. Now more than ever we need to keep the connections which were strong before the virus so that we don’t go insane as we lead up to what will hopefully be the end of this awful year+.
