I like the design concepts but the palette could use more contrast (perhaps the addition of a lighter value) I’m most intrigued by the concision and varied stroke weights of the lower right.
The other compositions could use some refinement.
I agree with the color issue. I think that the medium blue and medium teal are really close in value and the piece could use more contrast. maybe play with choosing a color not in the blue-green family. Im curious how light yellow would look for a lighter value Jason suggested. I would also avoid having your two medium values touching for a large space like the top right because at a glance your eyes don’t immediately pick up the difference
I think that the bottom two design are the strongest because the narrative is of objects overlapping in space while in the top two it read flat. I am left wanting more of a story in the top two
I appreciate the alternate solution, but I think the colors are stronger in the first series.The designs get a bit too busy in the second set, but I like the design in the lower right of that group.
