I am having a lot of fun with photoshop and am trying to play around with color schemes and different filters. However, I am struggling to make the overall piece tell a story any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

I think the overall piece would start to tell a story with some changes in color choices. the pink tone applied to the water and the railing is the only one that is not like reality. if you applied the altering of colors to the whole thing or none it would be more cohesive I think. also, I’m not sure what the phenix looking thing in the top is, so maybe try to let your view know more about how it relates to the rest. it feels primarily like a texture and the rest is reality which is where we loose its relationship to the rest, so maybe focus on that.
