I like the mysterious integration of the portrait image and the overall composition. You just need to develop some more contrast. Perhaps try using blending modes rather than opacity with the overlay of images. I’d love to see a few alternate variations with different treatments of the color and contrast.

I defiantly am feeling left confused (in a good way) and curious/wanting more. one suggestion, if the image layer with your face can be moved just very slightly to the right so that the corner of your eye is not touching the border? I think that might be a super small/insignificant change but my training in photography has me always focused on “edges edges edges”.
I also agree with Jason with continuing to play with how the textures combine with the portrait. to me, the right side of your face melds with the texture very well but the left side, the texture seems to just sitting on top.
