The curve concept worked out really well. The craft could be stronger on that one, but curves are tough. H/V is also nicely resolved. The combo piece gets busy with all the overlapping, so perhaps you can integrate gaps for some breathing room.
I just updated the combo piece. I’m not sure if I should do more gaps around the horizontal lines. I was playing around and had made it one big black horizontal line, but it didn’t look good. Any suggestions? Thanks!
If possible, I might take the horizontals off completely. The design looks really great without them. (I’ll send you an image via email) Maybe you could have one integrated similar to the top horizontal in the h/v piece. Or just bury a small horizontal line somewhere in the form.
