Hey Chris, looks like you’ve got some good ideas in the work. The strong suit of these thumbnails so far seems to be the narrative element, especially with the top right, and the bottom second to right. The economy on that top one is especially strong. I’d caution against going too representative with these(the eye, mask, banner), as that can take you away from thinking about the composition and more the subject. It’s also good practice not to make thumbnails in a grid; drawing each “canvas” can give you a much better understanding of the space and also let you think about how your border will work.
