This design stood out to be because of the creativity in the picture. It is a college university ad and obviously the people on the main cover are pulling the page up to make it look like they are wearing educational clothing. It looks like the girl on the left is a chemist and the man on the right is in history or english. I think what they did here with the play on idea of it being a magazine is really cool and interesting. I went into this assignment without an idea of who or what company I wanted to cover. I was just looking at random adds and the color stood out to me.
I also really like how they are holding the page up to them and it uncovers more information about the school. Not only that, but there is a hidden message about the school that you can become who you envision yourself to become. Them pulling the magazine cover up is a metaphor for the students going to this school and becoming the chemist and history genius they see on the cover; however, instead of using the cover the students will obviously major in whatever subject they desire.
